My name is Jihong Lee. I am a student in Korea from Sookmyung Women’s University studying education and will be a high school teacher. I came to P.E.A.C.E. to improve my English and teaching skills. I am lucky because everyone is so kind and always so happy to learn here. Many are also from other countries, so they understand how difficult it is to learn English. They always cheer me up, which I always appreciate. I’ve learned the importance of making sure people always feel welcome here. This may seem very basic, but many people aren’t usually taught this in school. I am sure this experience will be very helpful to my career.
